At the Intertraffic exhibition from April 16th to April 19th, 7ITS News had the honor to interview Dr. Maxime Flament Ph.D.E.E, CTO of 5GAA.
Dr. Maxime explained the development of C-V2X in various countries and regions, the application of 5G-C-V2X in road transportation, and the comparison between C-V2X and roadside innovations.
Dr. Maxime Flament currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at the 5G Automotive Association (5GAA), a global cross-industry association dedicated to developing connected and automated vehicles. He has held this position since April 2018.
Previously, Maxime was the Head of the Connected and Automated Driving (CAD) department at ERTICO - ITS Europe, an association that promotes research and deployment of intelligent transport systems in Europe.
Over the past 15 years, he has been a key contributor to various activities in European road safety, connected vehicles, automated driving, large-scale pilot projects, and digital mapping.
