Chongqing is accelerating innovation in low-altitude digital air traffic control, with its integrated low-altitude flight management service platform set to launch by the end of this year. The city has established a unified reporting and approval mechanism for low-altitude airspace demands, reducing approval time to just one day. Leveraging this system, Sichuan and Chongqing have jointly opened five cross-provincial low-altitude flight routes, paving the way for a broader regional alliance spanning six provinces and one municipality. This year, three additional cross-provincial routes between Sichuan and Chongqing are planned, aiming to increase flight duration and the number of flights by 15% and 20%, respectively.
