Customers Council Engages Consulting and Real Estate Development Firms

25 Jul 2024 / RTA -- Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) Customer Council conducted a discussion session with 233 business representatives in contracting, engineering consultancy, and real estate development fields to explore improvements to the 'No Objection Certificates (NOCs) for Infrastructure Projects' system.

The main objective of the session was to collect user feedback and suggestions for improving the customer experience with the NOCs for Infrastructure Projects' service. RTA is dedicated to maintaining consistent communication with customers to continuously enhance the quality of service and simplify procedures for individuals and private companies. This commitment aligns with RTA's strategic goals in Customer Happiness and Future Foresight.

Mohammed Obaid Al Mulla, Board Member and Chair of the Customer Council at the RTA, stated, "The RTA prioritizes serving customers' needs, especially businesses and companies in Dubai. We are committed to providing integrated, efficient, and value-added services to enhance their competitiveness and facilitate the smooth execution of construction projects in Dubai."

"During the session, participants were briefed by the Right of Way Department on the process of NOCs system. Twelve suggestions were made during the session for 'improving the Customer Experience' and 'Upgrading the NOCs for Infrastructure Projects' service. RTA’s Customer Council sessions are characterised by transparency and consistency in following up on the implementation of recommendations," noted Al Mulla.

“RTA is working on developing the NOCs service for infrastructure projects service to include updates that meet the requirements of contractors and consultants seeking project permits. RTA recently launched the 'Digital Platform for Clearance Certificates Service' for all infrastructure works undertaken within the Right of Way, through the online systems of NOCs provided in coordination with all government agencies and service providers concerned with the issuance of final completion certificates relating to the infrastructure sector in the Emirate.”
